Who is Sylvant?
I grew up in Las Vegas before my family planted new roots in Texas when I was eight. That move sparked a lifelong curiosity in me about people, places, and the stories we all carry with us. I've been drawing for 15 years now, driven by a simple desire: to capture the quiet, enduring moments of human connection and turn them into something tangible and permanent.
My work is rooted in graphite and charcoal. I love the timelessness of black and white because it allows me to focus purely on light, shadow, and raw emotion. I pour hours of intricate detail into every piece, striving to create art that feels vividly alive. When you look at my drawings, my biggest hope is that you feel a sense of peace, warmth, and a gentle connection to your own memories.
